The Caxton Club, an organization devoted to “the literary study and promotion of the arts pertaining to the production of books,” announces its annual grants for expenses of up to $2,500 (each) for book-related projects to be completed during academic year 2017-2018. Grants totaling up to $10,000 will be awarded. The grant will cover expenses, such as travel, materials, and tuition fees.

The Caxton Club, an organization devoted to “the literary study and promotion of the arts pertaining to the production of books,” announces The Colleen Dionne Memorial Grant: a grant for expenses of up to $1000 for a book art project to be completed during academic year 2017 - 2018. 

Applicants must be enrolled in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago undergraduate program during the academic year 2017 - 2018.

Applicants must submit a project description, a detailed budget, and two recommendations. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit materials, including actual samples of work, supporting the grant. 

Colleen Dionne was a dedicated member of the Caxton Club. This grant in her memory is awarded annually by the Caxton Club to a School of the Art Institute of Chicago undergraduate with a project in the book arts to be completed during the current academic year.

Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in a Midwestern (Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska and North and South Dakota) graduate program during the academic year 2017 - 2018 with a project in one of the following areas:
